PRACTICES AND PHILOSOPHIES
In my work in the field of behavioral science, I guide my clients, using empirically supported methods, to break out of old patterns and practices. Instead cultivating and shaping a different way of being and flowing though the world where the possibilities are vast and the feeling is of lightness and grounding.
SCIENCE AND SOUL
These two elements combine in a unique modality I call Science and Soul that creates alignment from the inside out—aligning your energy, clearing any blockages along the way, deeply rooting your life and your practices around your values so you may build a life that is authentic and true to yourself and the way you desire to live.
MOVEMENT
I’ve come to appreciate and rely on movement as a powerful form of embodiment. As a portal to tuning into the body as a guide, while tapping into the infinite wisdom that is already there. I find my own embodiment though dance, yoga, hiking, biking and exploring in nature.
RITUALS AND INTENTION
Much of what I want in this life has been cultivated using practices of ritual and intention. Rituals suspend time and build expansiveness. They create the container necessary for tuning in and doing the deep work with sacredness and commitment. While rituals set the container, intention brings awareness and the practices that build framework laying the path to growth and expansion. A practice is just that- a practice—a tool to come back to again and again when you fall off and fall out of alignment. The practice is there to get back on, reorient and realign. Once cultivated it’s always there as your anchor waiting to support you through whatever life may toss your way.
As a yogi for 20 years and a teacher for 10, my life, outlook and perspectives are deeply shaped from my practice both on and off my mat. Years ago, I fell in love with yoga for the asana practice and the way it felt in my body. The more I deepened my practice and began to study the philosophy that is yoga, the more I began to embrace these ancient teachings as a way of life with the asana practice as a side benefit. My practice deepened further with the incorporation of kundalini yoga as a technology for bringing energetic alignment and eliminating barriers to connecting with my true self.
Science and Soul teaches the skills and practices to take committed action and get the results you want, maintaining them even in the face of life’s inevitable challenges.
